Case Study | Parents Lifeline of Eastern Ontario – EDIB Capacity Building.

Parents Lifeline of Eastern Ontario (PLEO) is a non-profit family peer support organization for parents whose children, up to age 25, are facing mental health challenges. PLEO members are parents who have supported their children with these challenges – they’ve been there, they understand, and they can offer help.

The Challenge: Empower 25+ parents, staff, and board members through a deep dive into Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and review policies and practices for gaps and areas of improvement to better support parents from Black, African, and Caribbean (BAC) communities
