Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and thoughtful Health System Consulting Intern to support ongoing projects focused on improving health outcomes. This role is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in community engagement, applied health research, and consulting.
The intern will work closely with the team to contribute to ongoing projects and support targeted literature scans and knowledge synthesis activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Interest-Holder Support
- Assist in building relationships through community-informed approaches
- Support engagement with community leaders and interest-holders to understand local needs and priorities
- Contribute to the development of culturally sensitive and context-specific solutions
2. Research & Literature Scans
- Support the team to conduct targeted literature reviews to identify best practices, evidence gaps, and emerging insights
- Synthesize findings into concise summaries for internal and external use
- Identify knowledge gaps and recommend areas for further exploration
3. Knowledge Translation & Communication
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Support the development of presentations, briefs, and reports
- Tailor communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
4. Project & Strategy Support
- Assist in moving projects from problem identification to solution development and early implementation planning
- Contribute to team discussions and collaborative problem-solving sessions
- Support facilitation of meetings by preparing materials and helping guide discussions

Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Strong interest in health equity and working with underserved populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to synthesize information and think critically
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn
