Job Description:
We seek a Social Media Manager to support our consulting team with digital communications, online engagement, and content creation. This position is ideal for students or emerging professionals interested in healthcare systems, public health, communications, marketing, and digital strategy. The role offers hands-on experience in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and using digital tools essential in today’s professional environment.

The assistant will gain and apply skills in content design, digital campaign management, analytics, and cross-platform coordination using industry-standard software.


Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will:

  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Use Canva to design graphics, presentations, and visual content that aligns with your brand guidelines.
  • Manage a content calendar using ClickUp to track deadlines, campaigns, and deliverables.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide insights to the consulting team.
  • Support in preparing and formatting digital reports and presentations.
  • Draft captions and content aligned with health equity and organizational messaging.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries and files to ensure efficient access and management.
  • Participate in internal team meetings via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Provide support for newsletters, email communications, and occasional website updates.

Opportunity for Skill Development

  • Digital content creation and branding using Canva.
  • Project coordination using ClickUp and shared digital workflows.

Requirements

Daily use of the following tools and platforms:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – for documentation and communications.
  • Microsoft Teams & Zoom – for virtual collaboration and meetings.
  • ClickUp – for content planning and project tracking.
  • Canva – for digital content and visual creation.
  • Email and shared calendars – for scheduling and communication.

Preferred skills and qualities:

  • Basic proficiency in Canva and/or other design tools.
  • Familiarity with ClickUp or other project management platforms.
  • Strong writing skills for captions and digital storytelling.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Rate: The rate for this position is fixed and will vary based on skills and experience.

Contract Duration: 1year with a 3months probabation period
